I thought you
might like a report on my experience with St. Francis de
Sails. "Catch a Falling Tar," my thriller novel
about corruption in the U.S. Navy, went on the market February
11, 1991. It received 342 rejections over the next 15 years.
You can imagine how impatient I was getting. I downloaded

him inside my book on April 1, 2008, and I signed a contract
within two weeks. My book will be out in next year!!!!!

Maybe my experience
will help other people. I downloaded St. Francis DeSalles
and put him in my manuscript facing the back cover. Subsequently
I got ten rejection letters. Then I turned him around to
face the front, and that day someone came to my door asking
if I had any books to sell! Well, it turned out that he
was only asking because he was opening a used-book store
in the neighborhood, but still, the quick effect was awesome!

After my beloved
mother died this past April, I was forced to move out of
her basement. Getting on "Wheel of Fortune" did
not pan out, and neither did "Jepardy." ("Jepardy"
doesn't pay enough, anyway.) So then I knew I had to write
a "Bestseller" if I did not want to be "Homeless."
So I spent all of May writing a "Thriller." In
June I sent it to ten "Publishers," but by July,
I didn't even have one reply. No "Yes" and no
"No." Very disappointing!! So I Googled "St.
